Miami Dolphins RB LaDarius Perkins (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the regular season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus.
Perkins had surgery on Monday to repair the tear in his left knee.
The Dolphins announced that he was out indefinitely.
The team announced that Perkins will miss the remainder of the season.
Perkins, 30, tore his left meniscor in his knee during Miami’s win over the New York Giants on Oct. 23, 2017.
He was not available to practice for the first time since Oct. 22.
He was expected to return by the start of the postseason.
Miami lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-28.
Perkins had 14 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown during the Dolphins’ loss to the Buccaneers.
