Indian media are the most valuable sources of news online today, according to a new report.
The report by the New Scientist Digital Media Association, which is based in New Delhi, shows that the majority of online news articles are authored by India’s online newspapers and that the country has the largest number of content writers.
The association’s report also showed that the number of online articles published per million people has grown from less than 1 per cent in 2012 to 3.3 per cent today.
The top three news sources are the Indian Express, The Hindu and the Times of India.
The Times of Indian and The Hindu, both owned by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), were the most popular sources of online content last year.
However, the Times was surpassed by the Hindustan Times and the Hindostan Times of Today, according the report.
It also said that the average number of articles per million pages is now 8,000.
This is a rise of 8.5 per cent over 2011.
However it was the Times that had the highest number of readers per article in India in the year 2016.
The India Today Group, a private company that publishes newspapers and magazines in the country, was ranked fifth by the association, followed by the Times Group, Hindustani Times of today, and Times Now, the latter being the leading online news network in the Indian media.
According to the report, the most common online news article is a headline about an economic crisis, while the most-read article was about the earthquake.
“We have an ecosystem of the largest amount of content creators, but we also have a large number of people that write content,” said Dr M. Venkatraman, the executive director of the association.
“This is because they are passionate about their work.
They are also the ones that can monetise that content.”
The report also noted that the internet is also the place for people to express themselves.
“The digital space is the most diverse part of our lives,” Dr Venkatra told the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
“People who are passionate in their politics, religion, and social issues, can connect on the internet.”
He added that India has been the most innovative country when it comes to the online medium.
“India has always been one of the top digital countries, and we are now at the forefront of innovation,” he said.
In 2016, the country had the second highest number in terms of online publications, behind China.
In the US, Facebook has a massive influence on news content in the US.
A recent study by the Pew Research Center found that 70 per cent of the US population uses social media to find news and information.
Facebook’s influence is even bigger in the UK, where online news content is a majority of the content published.
However the report said that online media has been growing in India.
“In India, there are only a few companies that are taking the lead in online content,” Dr. Venkata said.
“They have to build the platform and the platform has to be built by them.”

said it was hopeful that the industry could create an ecosystem where content creators could monetise their content.
“If companies want to grow, they need to be aware of the ecosystem and understand the needs of their audience,” he added.
“That will be the key for a thriving digital media industry.”
